Tomorrow is here...

(And it’s a great day.)

And there are more mountains to climb. New paths to explore. And, new adventures to be had. 

Here, in the heart of Appalachia, innovation is paramount. Going first isn’t a choice; it’s ingrained in our very essence. It’s woven into the fabric of who we are — and into the flag we proudly fly. 

It’s a declaration of our unwavering commitment to lead, educate and inspire. Without our bold firsts, there would be no flicker of hope to light our way forward. 

Going first means more than just breaking records; it’s about breaking barriers. It’s about daring to dream big and take risks where others hesitate. It’s the fuel that drives us forward to seek the unknown, challenge the status quo and keep our eyes on the horizon. All in service to our state and future generations of Mountaineers to follow. 

We have built bridges and rebuilt communities; saved lives and cared for our neighbors. We have gone first when it was the hardest thing to do. But today, we stand on the precipice of possibility, with the whole world stretching out before us.

And we’re just getting started.
